Classes, Events and Workshops
Our classes and events are intimate and tickets sell out really fast too. Book your slot as soon as you can.

Cancellations

Jekajo: Terms of service are made known when bookings. An instructor will also treat cancellations and rescheduling outside the allowed period based on discretion and case-case basis.

Events

All cancellations must be requested at least 72 Hours before the event.

Refunds- Events are intimate and tickets are limited. Refunds are solely based on discretion.

Goods
Items in the curated collections that you find in our store, onsite or online, are usually in limited quantity, handmade with love from an African artist/artisan. Apparels, accessories, home goods, and decor items. What does that mean? As soon as you see something you like, you should buy it as they sell out really quickly.


Delivery
Orders will be processed and shipped within 2-5 business days from the date it is placed. This does not include items purchased as made to order.

We do not ship on Sundays or Bank holidays. Your orders are posted via Royal mail or Evri and should arrive within 5-7 business days. If you provide an incorrect address and the order is returned or due to any other error on your part, return shipping will be paid by you.

Turaka is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Customers can file a complaint with the carrier of the goods.

If you need your items ASAP let us know, we can arrange express or overnight shipping for an additional charge. Please email hello@turaka.co.uk for expedited shipping.

Exchanges
A lot of curated items in the store are one of a kind, handmade and travelled from very very far. In some cases, we are unable to do returns at the moment. We can offer an exchange. We will accept changes on most items in original conditions within 14 days of receipt.
Please note that return shipping is paid for by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse exchanges that show signs of wear, use and damage. ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.

To make an exchange, send an email to adenike@turaka.co.uk and we will reach out to you to begin the process. Once your items are received, reviewed and appear to be in original condition we will either send out your new item, or issue a store credit in the amount of the original purchase (shipping fees not included) towards a future purchase. At this time, we are unable to offer monetary refunds.

Opening Times
The Space is open from 10am - 6pm for walk ins. While events and classes may happen between 6pm-9pm.
